Connections contains optional services that extend the local archive without replacing a media server connection.

Trakt

Plekt Trakt Connections settings showing authorization and import controls
Trakt uses the device authorization flow and keeps import policy beside the bridge settings.

Trakt is an optional watch-history connection. The normal flow asks for an initial-sync policy, then displays a Trakt authorization code.

  1. Choose the initial import policy shown by the app.
  2. Complete the displayed authorization flow.
  3. Wait for the connection status to become healthy.
  4. Review the initial import in Sync Activity and History.

Plekt checks the Trakt watched snapshot regularly. Added watches, changed watch dates, and removals enter the same synchronization pipeline as media-server events.

Plekt should be the only Trakt bridge. Disable Emby and Jellyfin Trakt plugins and scheduled Trakt tasks so a second writer cannot reapply old state.

Tautulli

Tautulli provides a preview-first history import with a backup and identity review before changes are committed.

Tautulli is an optional import source for completed Plex history. Configure the server URL, API key, and user, then preview the import before committing it.

The import is deliberately safe: Plekt creates a watch-history backup first, matches rows by provider identity where possible, and keeps ambiguous rows in the preview for review. It does not silently overwrite existing watch history.

Seerr

Seerr adds request and availability context to detail pages without replacing a media-server connection.

Seerr is optional and adds request and availability context to media detail pages. It does not replace a Plex, Emby, or Jellyfin connection.

Configure the Seerr server URL and credentials, save, and test the connection. When it is connected, detail pages can show availability and request actions, including season and optional 4K requests where the server exposes them.
