Guides are task-focused paths through the current Plekt interface.

Use this page to choose where to start. The linked pages are the canonical references for labels, controls, settings, and routes, so this index points to them instead of repeating the same procedures in several places.

Start and orient

Use the media pages

  • Dashboard covers Now Playing, Up Next, resume progress, and watch history.
  • Movies covers the movie library and its quick actions.
  • TV Shows covers show progress, seasons, episodes, and show actions.
  • Upcoming covers the episode calendar.
  • Media details and actions covers watch dates, matching, artwork, Tools, and related content.
  • Discover covers current TMDB-backed feeds and title actions.

Keep personal lists

  • Watchlist is the private save-for-later page.
  • Ratings stores private 1–10 scores for movies, shows, and episodes.
  • Playlists holds ordered collections that can sync to Plex, Emby, or Jellyfin.

Connect and maintain

  • Integrations explains media-server, tracker, request, metadata, and artwork connections.
  • Settings is the map for the instance configuration pages.
  • Sync Activity and tools is the evidence and recovery guide for delivery results, retries, and Force Sync.
  • Backups and operations covers backups, restores, imports, security, and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting starts from a symptom and leads to the smallest safe correction.

Keep the paths clear

Choose the page that owns the task:

  • use a media-page guide for title-specific actions and detail sections;
  • use a dedicated Watchlist, Ratings, or Playlists guide for personal media;
  • use the relevant Settings page for configuration values and maintenance tools; and
  • use Troubleshooting when the expected result did not appear.

This keeps the guide section useful without maintaining parallel copies of the same instructions.
